Sunshine, Blessed Sunshine...

I have a friend who says that when she travels to the west coast from home (we're in the Eastern time zone) she always feels like she needs to eat four meals. I'm the opposite. I don't think as much about eating as sleeping. Right now the 6 o'clock news just came on and I'm bushed. I'm trying to stay up another hour so I won't be up before the seals.
Speaking of seals... There are a couple of young pups in a pool outside my hotel room door. I photographed them this afternoon while they played. Am pretty sure I'll put that into a slide show this week. Until then, here is a pic of the seals and a few select others I snapped on my walk around the resort this afternoon.

Enjoy!

Oh those are awesome pics Maddie! Thanks for sharing- I especially love the bird of paradise flower. My husband walked by while I was looking at the pictures and he was like "What in the world is that?" I explained- he said- "that's trippy!"

Maddie,

You know me. I enjoy a grey day, and hot tea by the fireplace. So far I have the grey day, and will probably eventually have the other two. Still, your pictures are making me a smidge jealous...

I enjoy a good gray day, too, Magdalena but the sun...well, I was needing it! Nothing like southern California.

Jan, I'll check on the seal pups. They are in a pool and there is a sign. Not sure if they will be reintroduced into the wild or if they are forever to live in a pool somewhere... but it's a nice pool with rocks and everything. And big! By the way, we are right next to Sea World so perhaps that is the connection.... They are cute. They are still speckled and everything!

Tayrn, glad you hubby liked the bird of paradise. The sun was shining just right and the color was wonderful
