Louisville, KY photoshoot

I spent the morning today trolling around downtown and Old Louisville taking some pictures for a magazine article I am working on. It was a beautiful morning and a wonderful day for photography! I thought I would share some of my shots with you tonight. Enjoy!

p.s. If anyone can find the picture with the spirits hanging around in it, i'll give you a free ebook of your choice! Post your thoughts here... tell me the number of the picture (sorry, I didn't number them!) and or describe it. Good luck!

Maddie, were they hanging around Pat Day? I couldn't see anything, but I just kind of assumed that's where they would be.
What beautiful pictures. Makes me want to explore Louisville with a new camera. I've lived in ky 3 years and never explored Louisville.
Thank you for sharing them.

Good guess, jennifer, but that's not where I see them. I know, it blips by pretty fast. Look at some of the pictures of the houses in Old Louisville. See what you can see!

I've lived here for four years now and need to explore this beautiful city a whole lot more. One thing I want to do over the next year is explore the parks system. There are fantastic parks here.

Hey Maddie

Very nice pictures. I think my favourite is the squirrel :) They're just so cute. As for your spirits. I searched, girl, and didn't really see casper waving at me. My only guess would be picture 19 (the one before the St. James sign). The blue and whitish patches that I'd perceive as sun spots might be your ghoulish spirits. Again, just a guess. But thanks for the fun and the pretty photos.
cheers,

My first thought was like Kris', there seems to be a lot of unusual light reflection in the photo before St. James - the blue circle above the entranceway, and swirls among the trees. However, I see a figure standing behind the gated entrance in the photo afer St. James - could that be it?!

Oh, now I've got it! Take a look at the photo with Borders. The spirit isn't visible, but the evidence is! The little palm tree beneath the Borders sign is the only one blowing - perhaps the spirit of a past author is still trying to guide readers to her/his book! LOL

Great photos, Maddie! I can see why the spirits love to hang around there!

I would say it's the 4th st picture across from central park. Either you need to clean your lense, or it's ghosts.

St. James Court seems to have an astral image in the doorway glass.

Thanks, ladies, for all of your guesses! I'll keep mum for a little while longer, giving the west coast peeps a chance to take a look and give their thoughts. :)
